Xiaomi Just Released A Flask That Can Also Boil Water

With less than a month to Christmas, it's time to start up your wish list.

Introducing, Xiaomi's new flask that doubles up as an electric kettle!

It's called the Viomi Travel Electric Cup.

Viomi - a subsidiary of Xiaomi - which specialises in producing smart water purification systems and instant water dispensers - are the guys behind this cool yet practical gadget.

The ideal present for anyone who loves travelling or is always on-the-go.

The 400ml flask is made of stainless steel and has an insulated wall

With a height of 22.5cm and weighing 500g, the thermos is a good fit for any medium-sized luggage bag or tote.

But how does it boil water? It comes with an integrated power cord that is easily stored beneath it.

All you need to do is have an electric source nearby, plug it up, and press the power button. To get lukewarm water (50°C), just press it twice.

According to Xiaomi, it takes about six to eight minutes for the water to boil.

However, the only catch is that you will need to leave the cap open while it boils.
