Short-form videos are incredibly popular these days, and Twitch is the latest platform to jump into the trend

Twitch is currently testing a new "discovery feed" feature, making it the latest tech company to explore TikTok-like content browsing methods. This feature, referred to as the "discovery feed", is designed to offer users a fresh way of viewing content through vertical scrolling. It is being introduced gradually to a limited number of users, as announced by Twitch in an X post.

The feed will feature videos from content creators on Twitch

However, at its initial stage, the clips will be displayed in a horizontal format. Twitch said vertical clips will become available as the feature evolves. You can mark your own videos in your dashboard to feature them on the discovery feed. Check out the X post below on how to feature your videos.

The discovery feed encompasses both clips marked as "featured" by creators and clips that have gained popularity among viewers.

Twitch, alongside brands such as Spotify, Amazon, and Reddit, is the latest company to introduce a feed similar to TikTok

The discovery feed was one of many upcoming new clip-related features that the streaming service revealed in July, along with the option to instantly export videos to TikTok.

Twitch is getting more than just a vertically scrolling video stream; the streaming platform said in July that it also wants to add stories to the site.
