London-based tech company Nothing is making waves in the tech scene after the release of their first ever smartphone, the Nothing phone (1)

After months of anticipation — the phone was announced during a keynote address in London on 12 July, where the founder, Carl Pei revealed the features of his company's first-ever smartphone.

Fun fact, Carl Pei was the co-founder of consumer electronics brand OnePlus in 2013, before he left the firm to start Nothing. (no pun intended)

Boasting stylish and attention-grabbing semi-transparent glyph lights at the back of the phone — the Nothing phone has been widely anticipated by tech enthusiasts everywhere.

One of the more unique selling points of the phone is that the glyph lights also sync to the ringtones that it's assigned to. Furthermore, you can even assign the glyph lights to react a certain way depending on the caller.

And... no one's more excited for it than our beloved local actor, Henry Golding

Henry Golding, the charming and beloved Malaysian-British actor recently took to Instagram to reveal that he not only loves the recently released Nothing phone, but is an investor of it.

It would seem that Golding was attracted to the company's originality and unique take on a market that seems all too similar these days. In his Instagram post, Golding even said that he is very excited to see where the company is heading.

It will officially be available in Malaysia starting on the 18 July
