Indonesia's Team Cilor Crowned Champions Of IGN Southeast Asia's Mobile Legends Tournament

Team Cilor claimed victory with a perfect score of 3-0 in the grand final, taking home the grand cash prize of RM18,900.

Just last week, the finals of Squad Up: Athena, a Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) tournament, was held.

After fierce competition from Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines, team Cilor from Indonesia bagged the ultimate champion title!

Organized by REV Media Group (RMG) through its Gaming Network, IGN Southeast Asia (IGN SEA), in partnership with Facebook Gaming, Squad Up: Athena marked the very first esports tournament championing women gamers across Southeast Asia.

It was hosted by all-female shoutcasters, Lizara Gaming and Mon Chelle, who also served as match analysts.

Showing off their prowess in the popular mobile game, team Cilor claimed victory with a perfect score of 3-0 in the grand final, taking home the grand cash prize of RM18,900

Team Volt Archery, also from Indonesia, came in second place, winning RM10,500. Meanwhile, team Bren Victress from the Philippines came in third place and took home RM7,140.

Prior to the grand finale, eight teams from three countries made it through by winning their respective national tournaments

The teams, Karra and On Air Pipols from Malaysia, Cilor, Volt Archery, and Cibi Cibi Chann from Indonesia, as well as Bren Victress, Project-Evo FE, and DDE x Risk Velkhana from the Philippines, competed to win a share of the RM42,000 prize pool.

Third Place

- Country: The Philippines
- Squad name: Bren Victress
- Squad members: Ashlie Grace A. Arevalo (Ashqt), Alexandria Dhzoie D. Dardo (Lexaaa), Babyblyn Mamasainged (Defrost), Ayezha Nicole Alampayan (ASHEE), Krizzia Mae Edangalino (Krish), Ma. Denise L. Marasigan (Tarooo)

RMG's Head of Gaming Network, Adrian Lai, said, "We are thrilled with the outcome of the tournament and we hope whoever watched the games feels the same"
