The bi-annual Galaxy Unpacked has been a highly anticipated event among tech enthusiasts and Samsung fans alike.

And this time around, we got a sneak peek at four new devices!

Samsung hosted the event at its country of origin, South Korea, for the first time in 24 years

Held in the COEX exhibition hall in Samseong-dong, Gangnam, the Unpacked event unveiled four exciting new devices. The best part is that there's something for everyone, whether you're looking for a new smartphone, tablet, or smartwatch.

Here's a first look at each device:

1. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 is the successor to the Galaxy Z Flip4 which released last year. As expected, this is Samsung's latest iteration of a foldable flip phone inspired by the popular flip phones back in the 90's.

Weighing 187g, the Galaxy Z Flip5 sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X main screen with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and Infinity Flex Display. This exclusive Samsung display is made with ultra-thin glass that can flex and fold in the palm of your hand.

Aside from that, the cover screen features a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED 60Hz display, which is larger than its predecessor's 1.9-inch display. It's also IPX8 water resistant, and can submerge in up to 1.5 metres of fresh water for up to 30 minutes, as reported by Samsung lab tests.

If you're looking for a stylish modernised flip phone, it may be worth your while to consider the Galaxy Z Flip5!

It is available in three colour options at Samsung retail stores: Mint, Lavender, Cream, and Graphite, with additional exclusive online purchase colour options like Green, Gray, Blue, and Yellow.

Here is the official price range:
- Galaxy Z Flip5 (256GB): RM4,499

Alternatively, the device sports a 6.2-inch HD+ Dynamic OLED 2X cover screen display with a 120Hz refresh rate as well. There's also a 10MP selfie camera alongside a 4MP Under Display camera, with a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 12MP ultra-wide camera, 50MP wide-angle camera, and 10MP telephoto cameras.

What's unique about the Galaxy Z Fold5 is its refined flex hinge. This foldable smartphone boasts a new integrated hinge module with dual rail, making it more flexible and stronger than its predecessor. Not only that, it's also the thinnest and lightest foldable smartphone to date, weighing at 243g.
