Two M'sian Teams Are Competing For A RM3.5 Million Prize Pool At The M4 World Championship

ICYMI, we're right in the middle of the M4 World Championship, a.k.a. the biggest Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) tournament in the world.

And what's special is that we have two national e-sports teams repping our country in the top 16. Woohoo, Malaysia boleh! :D

Happening from 1 to 15 January, the fourth iteration of the tournament is taking place in Indonesia, with a live audience for the very first time.

All 16 teams will be competing for a prize pool of US$800,000 (RM3.5 million), with the first place team walking away with US$300,000 (RM1.3 million).

The M4 World Championship is split into the group stage and knockout stage, which will feature a double-elimination format. So far, the group stages have been heated, and MLBB fans won't wanna miss all the action that's coming up! :O

Here's a look at both Malaysian e-sports teams:

Team HAQ
Once members of Orange Esports, Team HAQ worked their way to rewrite their story from the qualifiers to secure their very first MPL Malaysia championship.

The underdogs won the hearts of many during the playoffs, with their indomitable spirit and camaraderie. Their fans are highly passionate about the team, as they have proven that they have what it takes to be champions in their own right.

Team HAQ comprises of power duo and twins, Minn and Mann, as well as Waff, Garyy, Syamskyyy, Panda, and Lolla.

TODAK
Known as one of Malaysia's oldest e-sports teams, TODAK has a huge fanbase in the nation, with the intent to be the best gaming community leader. Champions of MPLMY Season 9 and MYSG Season 6, the team's unbeatable chemistry has proven to be their best asset throughout their years of operation.

CikuGais, Moon, Yums, Momo, 4Meyz, and Rival make up the winning combination of TODAK, who have fought many great and exciting battles together. 

In support of Team HAQ and TODAK, the entire KL Tower was recently lit up with cheers and words of encouragement.

Whether you're an e-sports enthusiast or just wanna cheer on our Malaysian teams, you can join the watch party happening at HomeBois Pitstop from now until 15 January.

Plus, there are lots of activities to look forward to, including a chance to win merchandise and other attractive prizes!

Here's what to expect:
- Meet Lord from Mobile Legends: Bang Bang!
Pose at the Minion photo booth and bring home happy memories
- Stand a chance to win exclusive MLBB merchandise, in-game diamonds, or a brand-new Infinix Note 12 by participating in the on-ground activities from 7 to 8 January and 13 to 15 January
- See cosplayers portraying MLBB heroes

What's more, you'll be able to catch celebrities like intanserah, xkpenjahat, zeemahmad, and dennislimming, who will be making an appearance on 7 January, the first day of knockout stage during which Team HAQ has a match at 7pm.

The watch party is free to attend, but attendees are recommended to register in advance for a chance to win attractive prizes.
