Following in the footsteps of Indian premier Narendra Modi, PM Najib Razak has just launched his own mobile app so the rakyat can get the latest updates from the Prime Minister of Malaysia at their fingertips

The bilingual app, developed by Resonate Digital Sdn. Bhd., was released earlier this week on 9 October for iOS and Android.

So, what does the app do?

For one, you can receive the latest news and updates from all of Najib's social media platforms as well as take a peek into his thoughts via his personal blog.

The Prime Minister's social media channels - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Flickr - are linked to the app, so you don't have to tap out to access the respective apps.

You can also participate in campaigns to share your ideas and suggestions with the Prime Minister, such as in this pretty nifty #Bajet2017 interactive poll

You can vote for the ideas that resonate with you, as long as you log in with your social media profiles or create a new one within the app.

The app is now available for iOS and Android on the App Store and Google Play Store respectively.

Alternatively, you can visit the #Bajet2017 micro site on desktop to make your voices heard:
