Attention, students! You've probably claimed your RM150 ePemula credit by now right?

If you claimed it via GrabPay, you'll know that the credit wasn't given to you in one lump sum, but through fractionalised vouchers of smaller denominations (RM5, RM10, RM15, RM20, and RM30) instead.

According to GrabPay, one of the main reasons they did this was to give you the opportunity to support multiple businesses as you spend prudently on your needs and wants

This is also in line with one of the objectives of the ePemula campaign — helping businesses, including SMEs that have been affected by the pandemic, recoup their offline sales by encouraging cashless transactions.

According to Grab, within the first three days of the programme's launch, the common denomination of cash vouchers being utilising were RM20 and RM10

Malaysians were predominantly spending on food, health and beauty products, and household essentials. Considering the variety of household brands in those categories that are currently accepting GrabPay, this isn't a surprise.

To date, the spending of ePemula credits via Grab has benefitted close to 4,000 GrabPay merchants nationwide.

But on top of the government's RM150, those who claimed their ePemula credit via Grab also received an additional RM210 worth of cash vouchers, fuyohhh! :D

Yep, that's right! On top of the RM150 ePemula credit, eligible claimants also received extra cash vouchers worth RM210 from Grab and its partners, featuring brands such as BottomsLab, UniPin, myNews, Family Mart, and many more. So awesome, kan?

For more savings, you can combine your additional ePemula cash vouchers with the following ongoing promotions on Grab:

GrabUnlimited

This all-in-one pack gives you exclusive savings of over RM300 a month on GrabFood, GrabMart, and rides. The normal price for it is RM4.90, but you can now get it at a special introductory price of only one sen!

And for the first time ever, Grab is allowing you to combine more than one promo to help you save even more. So, instead of choosing between free delivery or HotDeals, you can use both promos at the same time. Niceeee!

Ramadan / Raya promotion

With Ramadan in full swing and Raya coming up soon, you can get all your festive needs with Grab — from buka puasa meals and buah kurma to baju Raya and groceries, semua pun ada!

Plus, with every GrabPay transaction you make, including spending your ePemula cash vouchers, you'll earn GrabRewards. Keep collecting and you'll be able to redeem even more vouchers or use it to offset future transactions.

So, you're not just enjoying benefits now, but in the future too!

What's more, in conjunction with Ramadan, you can use your GrabRewards for a good cause by donating to different communities in need. Grab will even match the donations made throughout this festive season.

And that's not all! You could even score an internship at Grab just by claiming your ePemula credit.

By being a part of Grab's internship programme, you will have the opportunity to be part of projects that impact millions of Malaysians all over the country. It'll definitely be a great addition to your resume, and you'll gain valuable experience through your time there.

Grab is offering this as a way to support the government's emphasis on STEM education, in order to nurture agile and digitally competent talents.

Since Grab launched the GrabPay ewallet in 2017, the brand has been working alongside like-minded government partners, private companies, and other famous brands to encourage Malaysians to embrace e-wallets and adopt the cashless culture.

As a result, GrabPay is now accepted by thousands of offline and online merchants of various categories, making it so much easier for you to go cashless.

So, don't forget to spend your ePemula cash vouchers so that you can earn GrabRewards points and potentially even become an intern at Grab!
