The Google Pixel phones have made headlines everywhere since it first released in 2016, and for good reason

To many, these phones imbue the spirit of Google through its clean user interface to aesthetic designs. Moreover, they also bring out the best in Android and expose consumers to the heights of what Google's operating system can do.

Unfortunately, there's still no official store to these devices in Malaysia, so if you like them, you have to buy them through other means.

Here are a few ways to get the Google Pixel phones in Malaysia:

1. Buy them from authorised resellers and dealers

One registered retailer that you can buy Google Pixel phones from is TechBug.

TechBug is an electronics store that specialises in selling imported gadgets from USA and Europe. According to their website, they also take special orders.

In fact, you can already order the newly announced Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro from their official website. They also have a physical store in KL if you wanna go check it out.

By simply searching into the search bars of these online e-commerce shops, you'll be able to find a variety of shops that sell the Pixel phones. Most of them are from verified retailers who import the devices themselves.

Sometimes, you can even find cheaper secondhand options. Just make sure to read the reviews first to see other people's experiences!

3. Buy them secondhand from Carousell

Carousell is a consumer marketplace famous as an online marketplace for secondhand products. Like Shopee and Lazada, you can simply type in the Google Pixel keywords to see an array of products sold by users.

Do practice caution when dealing, and to not give out anymore details than necessary if you find a seller you want to deal with.

4. Buy from overseas sellers

Alternatively, you can import the Google Pixel phones from overseas stores and sellers. For example, Mobyshop, an online e-commerce marketplace in Singapore.

Do note that you'll probably have to pay for any international shipping costs and taxes that apply.

You can also join this Facebook group which has a community of Google Pixel users and enthusiasts in Malaysia

They often have postings and discussions about the Google Pixel phones.

Additionally, sometimes they would share secondhand Pixel devices to be sold, as well as any issues that they may be having on their own Google Pixels for advice.

Hope these tips help you till the day Google Pixel (hopefully) sells in Malaysia officially ;)
