After Removing The Headphone Jack, Apple Might Take Away USB Ports On Laptops
Another "courageous" move by Apple?

It appears Apple is continuing its quest for innovation as reports have suggested that the Cupertino-based tech giant is planning to remove traditional USB ports in favour of USB Type-C in the new line of Macbook Pros
USB Type-C is very much smaller than the traditional USB ports that we're used to. The standard USB connector we're most familiar with is USB Type-A.
The report was released by Japanese tech site Makotakara which was one of the first few to predict that the iPhone 7 is killing the headphone jack
The report alleges that traditional USB ports - as well as Apple’s MagSafe connector for charging the notebook - are being tossed out, citing people who claim to have knowledge of Apple’s plans.**
This also means you would need to resort to some sort of USB Type-C adapter considering the majority of conventional devices still use the traditional standard.
The Japanese publisher also hinted that Apple will release a next-gen 13-inch MacBook Air, but will likely discontinue its current 11-inch model
If you're looking for a moderately priced and thin notebook from Apple, you might be in for some disappointing news this year.
Aside from removing the USB ports, it is also rumoured that there will be an addition of a new “Dynamic Function Row” on the new laptops
The addition is rumored to be a long, narrow OLED touchscreen that replaces the function key row. This new screen will display different buttons and controls dynamically depending on which app is in use at the time.
