10. Arsenal, 77 decibels. Though one of the most supported teams in the BPL, they are surprisingly quiet when it comes to giving their support for their team. Their previous ground, Highbury, was then known as the "Highbury Library" because it was so quiet!

9. Sunderland, 80 decibels. For a team that plays at the Stadium of Light, the fans have done a decent job of "lighting up" the atmosphere in the stadium.

8. Chelsea FC, 80 decibels. Another top London based club, it is surprising to see them at eighth. Their sound level is equivalent to a small auditorium playing chamber music!

7. West Ham, 81 decibels. The Hammers definitely upstage their other well known London counterparts by having the louder fans. Their recent good form in the BPL could see them cheer louder if it continues.

6. Newcastle, 82 decibels. The Magpies are famed for their black and white strip they often wear to their games. Although things are not going great for them at the moment, it is still good to know they have fans that stick through thick and thin.

5. Stoke City, 83 decibels. Founded in 1863, it is the second oldest professional club in the world. The Potters are known for having an intimidating atmosphere at the Stadium of Brittania, where they are based.

4. Everton, 86 decibels. Arch rivals of Liverpool, the Toffees have managed to be one of the loudest fans thanks to their compact and cozy stadium. Did you know that they gave a Malaysian man the VIP treatment after he travelled all the way to watch them play?

3. Aston Villa, 89 decibels. The Villains are not only loud in their chants and support but also funny. Here they are pretending that their team scored a goal when they were losing. Major points for them!

2. Manchester United, 94 decibels. Yes, things are not going so well for them currently but the one of the world's most famous club has a bunch of fans that are really loud. No wonder players love to play at the Theatre of Dreams.

1. Liverpool, 97 decibels. Ah, Anfield is officially the loudest ground in the BPL. What does 97 decibels sound like? That's like a jackhammer pounding on the road. It's true, Liverpool players will never walk alone.
