Southeast Asian eSports Team Wins RM1.43 Million In Prestigious Dota 2 Competition
It also marks the first major win for a Southeast Asian team.

Southeast Asian gaming outfit Mineski took down China's LGD Gaming in the grand finals of the Dota 2 Asia Championships on Saturday, 7 April, taking home USD370,000 (RM1.43 million)
Mineski defeated the hometown favourites in a 3-2 victory that was witnessed by a sold-out crowd at the Shanghai Oriental Sports Center in Shanghai, China.
With the win, Mineski becomes the first-ever Asean eSports team to win a Dota 2 major, Kotaku reported.
Mineski is made up of two Malaysians: Chai "Mushi" Yee Fung and Kam "Moon" Boon Seng. They are joined by Daryl "iceiceice" Koh from Singapore, Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong from Thailand, and Michael "ninjaboogie" Ross Jr. from the Philippines.
In January, AirAsia was announced as the official airline sponsor for Mineski, marking the company's first foray into eSports.
