JDT Players Are Being Rewarded With Diamond And Sapphire Rings Worth RM85k Each

All Johor Southern Tigers (JDT) football players and staff will be receiving a diamond and sapphire encrusted rings each for winning the Malaysian Super League for three years in a row

JDT also won the 2016 Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Cup in February this year, beating Selangor FA and in May they won their first Malaysian FA Cup when they defeated Selangor's PKNS.

The announcement was made on their official Facebook page, Johor Southern Tigers yesterday evening. The gold and platinum rings are apparently worth RM85,000 each.

The short Facebook post was accompanied by photos of the rings, explaining that these rings will serve as a commemoration of their achievements for making history by winning the Malaysian Super League for three years consequently.

It was also mentioned that JDT will be releasing a replica of the ring for the fans in the near future. However, they've yet to determine the price for it.

The Facebook post has garnered more than 19,000 likes and over 2,604 shares.

Netizens have commented asking for the price to be reasonable, with some even asking for each ring to be sold at RM10.
