1. The game went into extra time after both teams didn't score. Germany finally took the lead in the 92nd minute after Schurrie scored a back heel
2. Mesut Ozil made it 2-0 just before the end of extra time, advancing the Germans
3. Algeria pulled one back a minute later but it was too little, too late with the clock ticking down. Brilliant goal though.
