[VIDEO] Bonnie Bunyau Wins Gold For Malaysia At Tokyo Paralympics

It's the 1st gold medal for Malaysia at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

National powerlifting champion Bonnie Bunyau Gustin has made Malaysia proud by winning the gold medal in the men's 72kg category at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games today, 28 August

Bonnie lifted a huge 228kg to secure the gold medal, which is the first for Malaysia.

The 22-year-old para-athlete from Sarawak beat Egypt's Mahmoud Attia, who came in second place with 191kg, and Great Britain's Micky Yule, who came in third place with 182kg.
