The Inland Revenue Board (IRB) is extending the deadline to file the various income tax return forms (BNCP) by two months to 30 June

In a statement issued on Tuesday, 17 March, the IRB said that the decision to extend the deadline from 30 April 2020 to June 2020 was made to facilitate the submission of tax returns, as government's Restricted Movement Order (RMO) comes into effect from Wednesday, 18 March.

The RMO will remain in place till 31 March to deal with the coronavirus outbreak.

The department has also urged taxpayers to submit their BNCP forms and tax payments via IRB's online platform, ezHASIL
