"You'll Be Prosecuted In The Afterlife" - Mum Of Boy Whose Sexual Abuse Case Was Dropped

Johanna Sarah Harun Ronald, a mother, who has been fighting for justice since 2016 when her minor son was allegedly sexually abused in a tahfiz school, lost her fight over the week after the case was dropped by Attorney-General (AG) Tan Sri Tommy Thomas
Under Article 145(3) of the Federal Constitution, the Attorney General has the sole discretion to institute, conduct or discontinue any proceedings for an offence.
The mother with her son in front of Maahad Tahfiz al Barakah, the tahfiz school in Manjoi where the boy was allegedly sexually abused. The tahfiz school was formerly owned by celebrity preacher Datuk Kazim Elias.

She did not hold back against the deputy public prosecutor who closed the investigation paper without identifying any suspects and the investigators who allegedly skipped the psychiatric and paediatric experts' reports in the investigation papers.
Although, the mother was grateful towards the magistrate who gave her family a favourable outcome and the lawyers who represented them, reported Malay Mail.
As per Malay Mail's report, Johanna Sarah wrote a lengthy post
In her Facebook post, she called out the prosecutors who decided against going ahead with the case linked to celebrity preacher Datuk Kazim Elias, who used to own the tahfiz school - Maahad Tahfiz al Barakah, where the boy was allegedly sexually abused.
"To the prosecutor, 'thank you' for choosing to not prosecute those who committed crimes against my child," she wrote, as reported by Malay Mail.
I'm confident, you will also be prosecuted one day, at the Court of God in the afterlife. Be ready, since you are a Muslim too.
She accused the investigators of "showing their true colours"
According to the mother, the police did not follow standard operating procedures while investigating the case.
She alleged that they didn't get the victim to help identify the suspect, didn't get the victim to identify the place where the alleged offence took place, nor did they record the minor victim's statement in a video.
She said that all this sets ugly precedence for any minor who becomes a victim of bullying, assault, sodomy or rape by those connected to the elites not getting any justice despite overwhelming evidence.
In her son's case, the Magistrate's Court in Ipoh had earlier this year recognised that an offence did take place. But dismissed the case following the AG's request.
While the celebrity preacher no longer owns the tahfiz school, the victim, who is now 13, is still undergoing psychiatric therapy
According to Malay Mail's report, the 13-year-old victim, who was 10 at the time of the alleged incidents, needs the psychiatric therapy to overcome his trauma.
His treatment, which is scheduled to conclude in 2012, is being done at the Hospital Bahagia in Tanjung Rambutan in the Kinta district of Perak.
Meanwhile, the case now seems to have become political fodder for the opposition coalition Barisan Nasional (BN) as its component party Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) has asked the Attorney-General to explain as to why he ordered the case to be dropped
"Thomas is urged to provide solid explanations," MCA spokesperson Chan Quin Er was quoted as saying by Malaysiakini on Friday, 18 October.
"We hope he can comprehend the humiliation and emotional trauma that will haunt a sexually violated minor for the rest of his life. It is not only the child who is afflicted but the parents too," she said, adding that the meddling had damaged the credibility of the attorney general's post and the Attorney-General's Chambers.
