Image via astroawani.comBukit Antarabangsa assemblyman, Mohamed Azmin Ali was officially sworn-in as the 15th Selangor Menteri Besar at approximately 10.0am today, replacing Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim.
Mohamed Azmin, 50, undertook his oath in front of the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah at Balairong Seni, Istana Alam Shah in Klang.
During The Swearing In Ceremony, The New MB Undertook These 10 Oaths Before The Sultan Of Selangor:
The new MB read out 10 oaths -- upholding the Rukun Negara; preserve and protect the sanctity of Islam and respect the rights of other religions; preserve the sovereignty of the Royal institution; obey all instructions and rulings by DYMM Sultan Selangor; protect the special position of the Malays; perform the task with high integrity; must always put the rakyat first; ensure stability, prosperity and security of the state; preserve position held from unlawful matter; and ensure national unity.
