PAS Promises To Move Zouk Out If They Win Titiwangsa
"It is depressing to see some Muslims entertaining themselves there."

PAS' Titiwangsa candidate Mohammad Noor Mohammad said that he would move out popular entertainment outlet Zouk to ease traffic and curb social ills if he wins the seat in the 14th General Election
According to Berita Harian, Mohamad Noor said that the nightclub should not be located on Jalan Tun Razak in central Kuala Lumpur as it is a Malay-majority area.
He was speaking at a press conference today, to lay out PAS' manifesto for Titiwangsa, which included issues like Kampung Baru reserve land, the fate of traders in Pasar Keramat, and parking problems for PPR flats.
The PAS member pointed out that traffic starts to build up around the area from 10pm onwards and its depressing to see Muslims partying there
He said, "The statistics show that 71% of the 65,000 voters in Titiwangsa are Malays.
"Hence, the club should be moved to an area where the majority are non-Muslims, such as Bukit Bintang or other locations that are appropriate for such entertainment."
Mohamad Noor believes that he has 60% chance of winning the seat, as both BN and Pakatan Harapan do not have candidates who are favourable by the people
"Initially, we estimated the seat to be 50-50 chance of winning but now we rate it as 60%," he was quoted saying by Free Malaysia Today.
He slammed PH for fielding a candidate in the constituency as he believed that they will spoil the votes.
"If Pakatan Harapan really wants to form a government, they should not contest the seat.
"Let PAS fight with BN as we will surely win. Titiwangsa has been a PAS area since 1986," he said.
PPBM's women's chief Rina Harun is PH's candidate. However, party members are unhappy with that decision as they claimed she is no match to BN's Johari Abdul Ghani.
Mohamad Noor had contested twice for the Titiwangsa seat, where he lost by 1,513 votes in 1999 and by 11,815 votes in 2004.
