Voting For Tioman State Seat Has Been Suspended After PN Candidate's Sudden Passing
The Election Commission (EC) will decide on a new date for the seat, while the polls for the Rompin parliamentary and the other two state seats, namely Muadzam Shah and Bukit Ibam, are going on as scheduled.

Voting for the Tioman state seat (N41) has been postponed following the death of Perikatan Nasional (PN) candidate Md Yunus Ramli
Early this morning, 19 November, the 61-year-old Rompin PAS vice-commissioner, suffered a fatal heart attack while he was being treated at the Rompin hospital, according to New Straits Times.
The Tioman state assembly seat, which is under the Rompin parliamentary constituency, was scheduled to witness a five-cornered clash
"The postponement is for the state seat only, while polling for the Rompin parliamentary constituency will go on as usual," Bernama quoted Rompin parliamentary returning officer Ahmad Nasim Mohd Sidek as saying.
"The election process for Rompin and the remaining two state seats will be carried out as usual. The results will be announced by the returning officer at the vote tallying centre once the process ends today."
He added that further statements regarding the status of the Tioman state assembly seat will be issued by the Election Commission (EC). However, he did not provide any further details.
