Chen who was dressed in his uniform with sunglasses, hit out at the loan sharks or “Ah Long” in the 41-second video and even threatened to take them on if they came into his area and continued pasting stickers.

"I don't want MCA and DAP complaining to me about 'ah long' stickers (in my area). "

thestar.com.myA youth was arrested for putting up posters featuring a telephone number for a money lending service. When a reporter called the number, the person who answered the call confirmed that his business was legitimate and that the youth was his employee.
A Chinese youth was also arrested for putting up the illegal money lending services advertisement. The banner reads "No Money, No Problem, Can Get Money One" which is also accompanied with a phone number. A reporter dialed the number featured on the poster and the person on the other end of the line said he was an innocent man running a legitimate business.

The person said he saw the video clip yesterday and confirmed that the person holding up the poster is his employee, who has been released from police custody.
"My staff was putting up banners when he was arrested. From what I was told, a political party had complained to the police about these banners somewhere in Cheras. That's what prompted the police personnel to do (what he did)," said the person contacted.
Ipoh OCPD Asst Comm Sum Chang Keong is reported to have told Oriental Daily that Chen is indeed the chief of the Menglembu police station
Sum is reported to have said that while Chen’s intention was good, his actions were not professional and the words used by him were inappropriate.
