It appears our new prime minister doesn't want to rest

Since the night of 10 May when Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad was sworn in as Malaysia's 7th Prime Minister, the 92-year-old immediately got down to business.

In fact, Tun Dr Mahathir has been so hard at work ever since he was sworn in as Prime Minister that his wife, Dr Siti Hasmah, has expressed her concerns about his health.

"He does not have enough sleep. His sleeping time is being used to go through government documents," his 91-year-old wife wrote in a Facebook post.

Now, a video that was posted on Twitter by a blogger Firdaus Abdullah, shows Tun Dr Mahathir behind the wheels of what appears to be a Proton Perdana, while driving himself around Klang Valley on Sunday morning to inspect developments in the city

"Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad driving himself to monitor the latest developments around Kuala Lumpur this morning. Some ask where Dr Mahathir gets overflowing energy at 93 years old. May God always protect this statesman," Firdaus wrote in his tweet, that was uploaded at around 11.40am today.

At the time of writing this story, the tweet was retweeted for more than 3,100 times.
