Video Shows 2 Alleged Bullies Taking Turns To Kick And Punch A Boy In Bukit Jalil

The 15-year-old victim has lodged a report at the Bukit Jalil police station.

A Form Three student has lodged a police report on a bullying incident at the hands of a group of teenaged boys in Bukit Jalil

The victim, aged 15, lodged the report on Wednesday, 7 October, about the bullying incident that is said to have occurred at the Muhibbah People's Housing Project (PPR) on Monday, 5 October.

New Straits Times reported that Cheras district police chief ACP Mohamed Mokhsein Mohamed Zon has confirmed that his department has received the complaint by the victim at the Bukit Jalil Police Station.

According to ACP Mohamed Mokhsein, the incident was due to a "misunderstanding" between the victim and his two alleged bullies, aged 15 and 14, reported Harian Metro today, 8 October.

The bullying was recorded on video and uploaded on social media

The video, which is 30 seconds long, shows the two suspects taking turns to assault the boy, who is sitting on a cemented bench and doesn't retaliate except merely using his hands to try and avoid getting hit.

"...they are taking turns to kick and punch the victim until a woman intervenes and stops the suspects," ACP Mohamed Mokhsein said, adding that the suspects were known to the victim.

According to him, police have opened an investigation paper on the alleged incident under Section 323 of the Penal Code, which covers voluntarily causing hurt to a person and carries imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year or fine which may extend to two thousand ringgit or both.

So far no arrests have been made.
