[VIDEO] Netizens Praise Man For Jumping Into Ocean To Rescue Stranded Cat In Perak
The man took action without hesitation to save the feline from drowning.

A video of a man saving a stranded cat by jumping into the sea went viral on TikTok and Facebook earlier this week
The incident is believed to have happened in Lumut, Perak.
In the one-minute video that was originally posted by TikTok user @sailormilo, the man in a blue shirt is seen jumping into the sea without hesitation. He then swims toward a cat that is stranded in the water.
The cat is seen clinging its paws on to the lower part of a ship while its body from the neck down is submerged in the water.
While in the water, the man quickly takes off his shirt and wraps it around the cat.
He then holds up the feline with one hand and uses his other arm to swim back to the dock, all the while making sure that the cat's head stays above water.
Once he reaches the dock, another man appears and climbs down the ladder to fetch the cat from the man who saved it.
Netizens who came across the video called the man a hero
A netizen commented, "Thank you, kind-hearted hero."
"Thank you to the men who saved the cat," said another.
People also praised the man for his bravery.
"It might look easy, but not everyone can do that," said a Facebook user.
Another person commented, "This kid is amazing. He could take off his shirt while swimming (to save the cat). I wouldn't dare to breathe even with my head above the water."
Some believe the man is part of the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) after spotting the familiar-looking shirt he wore in the video.
In a comment, a netizen said, "He must be a navy," to which another person replied, "yup."
Another user tagged a friend in the comment section and pointed out, "I saw the shirt. Navy people are the best!"
