LRT passengers were startled by several loud explosion-like sounds as their train approached the Abdullah Hukum Station last night, 12 March

According to the Traffic Info Crew Facebook page, the incident occurred around 10.40pm, after which all passengers were asked to disembark.

Videos circulating on social media captured moments of panic, with passengers screaming as bright flashes followed the loud bangs.

Rapid KL later confirmed that train services on the LRT Kelana Jaya Line were experiencing delays due to a technical disruption between the Universiti and Abdullah Hukum stations
