[VIDEO] 20 Men Brawl In The Middle Of A Road In Serdang Over Alleged Tow Truck Confusion

Multiple videos showing a violent fight breaking out in the middle of the road in Serdang, Selangor have gone viral
In a 39-second long video, a large group of men can be seen throwing punches and giving flying kicks on Jalan Serdang Raya 1/7, Seri Kembangan yesterday, 28 May.
A man, donned in a red T-shirt, is seen pushing another man to the roadside before kicking him repeatedly.
An emergency response team (ERT) pickup truck was spotted at the scene, as well as two tow trucks.
The commotion caused traffic to build up, with over a dozen vehicles left in complete standstill.
It is learned that the fight erupted following a road accident at about 2pm
According to New Straits Times, the fight was triggered over a misunderstanding on who was going to tow a customer's stalled car between two groups of vehicle towing servicemen.
"Initial investigation based on the injured driver's report revealed that the fight arose from a misunderstanding after the customer called (a tow truck driver) for towing, but in the end, he decided to use the services of an insured panel tow truck," said Serdang district police chief Assistant Commissioner Ismadi Borhan.
The fight caused a 36-year-old tow truck driver to sustain a head injury, while his truck's windscreen was smashed.
He was rushed to the hospital for outpatient treatment and was later allowed to go home.

However, Ismadi said the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) set up a special operation to track down all the suspects and they managed to detain eight individuals so far.
"The case is being investigated under Section 147 for rioting, and Section 427 of the Penal Code for committing mischief," he said in a statement last night.
Astro Awani reported that the eight suspects will be brought to the Petaling Jaya court for a remand application today, 29 May, and that the police are currently tracking down the other suspects involved in the fight.
Ismadi reminded the public to always stay calm and to not be easily provoked while on the road, or else their aggression could land them on the wrong side of the law.
