Tun M Says The Agong Is Willing To Give Anwar A Full Pardon Immediately

Anwar will be free to participate fully in politics.

In a press conference today, Prime Miniter Tun Dr Mahathir revealed that in a meeting with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, His Majesty has agreed to a full pardon and immediate release for jailed Anwar

Dr Mahathir added that once Anwar receives a full pardon from the Agong, the PKR leader will be "free to participate fully in politics"

"The Agong has indicated to one of us.. to actually Lim Guan Eng, that he is willing to pardon Datuk Seri Anwar immediately.

"So we will go through the proper process of obtaining a pardon for Datuk Seri Anwar. This is going to be a full pardon, which, of course, means that he should not only be pardoned, he should be released immediately when he is pardoned.

"After that, he will be free to participate fully in politics."
