In a press conference today, 6 June, Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad announced that civil servants will soon have to take English competency tests

According to New Straits Times, Tun Dr. Mahathir explained that is it important for civil servants, especially senior officials, to master the English language
