Visitors Travelling To New Zealand Will Now Have To Pay An Extra RM96 To Enter The Country
The "admission fee" also applies to those holding student and working holiday visas.

From 1 July onwards, international visitors travelling to New Zealand will be required to pay an additional levy of NZD35 (RM96) to enter the country
According to the Ministry of Business, Innovation, and Employment's official website, the International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL) will be collected through the immigration system, with travellers paying the IVL in addition to visa fees.
The levy applies to most international visitors entering New Zealand "on a temporary basis", such as those who are on holiday (including the working holiday scheme), as well as those holding student visas and some short-term working visas
There are, however, some exceptions. Those who are not required to pay the IVL include New Zealanders, people transiting New Zealand, Australian citizens and permanent residents, ship and airline crew, as well as people from Pacific Island countries such as American Samoa, Cook Islands, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, and Solomon Islands.

From 1 October onwards, some visitors and transit passengers will be required to apply for a New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA) before travelling to New Zealand. Request forms will only open in mid-July, which you can already register for here.
