The government may print the examination papers for primary school leavers in the UK next year, Education Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said today after several subjects were found to have been leaked.

An independent committee is also considering several other suggestions to tighten security measures, the minister added, even though the nationwide exam for 12-year-olds will end in 2015.

“The committee will make its own evaluation, including suggestions to improve the examination board, how to keep the questions classified and safe, and we will consider the process like with SPM papers, which are printed in the UK,” he told reporters after nominations closed for a by-election in the Kelantan state seat of Pengkalan Kubor here.
