Senior YouTube star Narayana Reddy of the popular channel 'Grandpa Kitchen' has been laid to rest on Sunday, 27 October

The 73-year-old was well-loved internationally for cooking gigantic meals for less fortunate Indian children and orphans.

He cooked everything from french fries to burgers, and butter chicken to lamb biryani.

His YouTube videos always opened with the statement 'Loving. Caring. Sharing. This is my family', and ended with shots of children eating the prepared food.

The YouTube channel Grandpa Kitchen currently boasts more than six million subscribers, and since its inception in August 2017, has amassed over 600 million views.

His official cause of death has not been announced.

Narayana last streamed live on YouTube last Thursday, 24 October, six days before his death was announced on his channel:

Many netizens have flooded the Internet to share their condolences and grief over Narayana's passing

This YouTube user's heart sunk upon hearing the sad news and reminisced how watching videos of Narayana cooking made his hard days better.

This Twitter user went on to declare Narayana the "most wholesome man on all of YouTube".

While this other user said that it was the saddest day of his life to hear that Grandpa is gone forever.
