Students From Religious School In Kajang Sat For Exam In A Flooded Classroom
A total of 64 students were affected by the flood while sitting for the exam under the supervision of eight teachers.

Due to heavy rain in Kajang, Selangor, a group of students had to sit for their Al-Quran dan Fardhu'Ain class (KAFA) national exam in a flooded classroom at Sekolah Rendah Agama (SRA) Sungai Balak yesterday, 1 December
The dreadful moment of the students sitting for the assessment test, also known as Ujian Penilaian Kelas Kafa (UPKK), in floodwaters was captured in a 16-second TikTok video that has gone viral.
According to Free Malaysia Today, Selangor fire and rescue department director Norazam Khamis said the school was located in a low-lying area that was often hit by flash floods.
He added that the water level started rising at around 4.30pm yesterday due to the heavy rain in Kajang, which lasted for over an hour.

"As the water receded at 7pm, the situation was under control and no unfortunate incidents happened," Norazam said.
He stated that the flooding only affected the area around the school, where the water level had rose to 0.6m.
The students were all aged 11 years old.

Bangi member of parliament (MP) Syahredzan Johan tweeted that he went to visit SRA Sungai Balak today, 2 December.
He went along with Kajang Municipal Council (MPKj) councillor Dickson Tan, village chief Bahron Zaman, and Sungai Balak village head Tok Zainurin to see the condition of the school after the flood.
