A primary school student's direct plea to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim about unusable toilets at his school in Kamunting, Ipoh, has led to swift action, with repairs completed in just two days

The matter came to light during Anwar's visit to the Kamunting Ramadan Bazaar on 14 March, when the student took the opportunity to express his frustration over the poor condition of the toilets at SK Long Jaafar.

The lighthearted yet unexpected complaint was caught on camera in a 28-second video.

Anwar's political secretary, Muhammad Kamil Abdul Munim, confirmed in a Facebook post this week that the necessary repairs had been carried out

"Alhamdulillah, I have received a follow-up report regarding the complaint made to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim about the school toilets. The repairs have now been fully completed," Kamil said.

He also reiterated Anwar's commitment to addressing public concerns efficiently, adding that the prime minister consistently reminds government officials to be proactive in resolving urgent public issues.

Kamil accompanied his update with a 25-second video, which included a screenshot confirming that the toilets had been fully restored and were ready for use as of 16 March.
