"Neighbour From Hell" — M'sian Upset Over Neighbour's Laundry Blocking Their House
"Meanwhile, she insists the space in front of her own house stays clear," they wrote.
A viral Facebook post details a Seremban resident's ongoing frustration with their neighbour, who frequently places a laundry drying rack in front of their home and refuses to move it — even when asked
According to a post on the Negeri Sembilan Kini Facebook page, the anonymous complainant said they've tried everything from polite reminders to formal complaints, but the issue remains unresolved.
"I really didn't want to make this neighbourhood issue public. But I've been patient for so long and followed all the proper channels, and nothing has changed," they wrote.
The resident, who lives in Sikamat, said despite lodging multiple reports to the municipal council, there has been no response or action taken.
"At this age, I'm done arguing. Fighting won't solve anything — it'll just add more problems. But the more we stay silent, the more excessive her behaviour becomes," they wrote.
The resident claims that their neighbour routinely blocks access to their home by placing a clothesline right at their entrance
Every time they need to leave or return home, they are forced to move it themselves.
"She even told me to move it myself if I wanted to go out. Meanwhile, she insists the space in front of her own house stays clear," they shared.
The situation doesn't end there. The neighbour has also been caught dumping trash into the complainant's garbage bin just to keep her own bin empty.
According to the complainant, the act has been captured several times on their home CCTV.
The individual said they are at their wits end, as they have filed multiple complaints through the Public Complaints Bureau (SISPAA), but to no avail
"She told me, 'If you want to report me, go ahead', because her kids work at the council. It's easy for people with connections, but what about the rest of us who don't?" they lamented.
The post has since gone viral with over 1,200 shares, with many netizens empathising with the resident and sharing their frustration.
