Reckless Driver Causes Pile-Up After Squeezing Between A Car & A Pick-Up Truck On MRR2

A black car was seen speeding and weaving through traffic along the Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) near Kuala Ampang before causing a multi-vehicle accident, according to a number of viral dashcam footage
The accident occurred at around 10.05am yesterday, 19 March.
In a statement today, 20 March, Ampang Jaya district police chief ACP Mohamad Farouk Eshak said that investigations showed that the driver of the black car lost had control while avoiding another vehicle.
He added the driver suffered multiple injuries and was sent to the Ampang Hospital for treatment.
In one of the slightly longer videos, the driver weaves through several lanes along a three-lane road before traffic begins to slow down
The video then shows a multi-vehicle pile-up involving the wrecked black car.
In another smaller dashcam clip, the black car is seen crashing into the rear end of a car after squeezing between a car and a pick-up truck
Fortunately, the drivers of the other vehicles escaped uninjured.
A blood sample from the reckless driver was sent for a toxicology test, and the case is being investigated under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for driving recklessly and dangerously.
