Public Thrash 2 Nepali Men After They Allegedly Molested A Female Grab Driver In Penang
The victim's warnings about driving the car to police station didn't work.

In an incident that happened Friday evening, 19 April, public in Seberang Perai, Penang, thrashed two Nepali men for allegedly molesting a female Grab driver en route to their drop point
According to Seberang Perai Tengah district police chief Nik Ros Azhan Nik Abdul Hamid, the 27-year-old Grab driver had picked up the two men, aged 23 and 29, at Jalan Stesen about 5.30pm, New Straits Times reported today, 20 April.
The duo had booked the ride to return to their rented home in Taman Juru.
"Initially, the victim had asked both men to sit at the rear passenger seat. However, midway, the 23-year-old man climbed to the front passenger seat. The driver tried to stop him but was unsuccessful," ACP Nik Ros Azhan was quoted as saying.
While the female Grab driver stopped by the roadside along Jalan Betik and asked the man to return to the back seat, he didn't
When the grab car arrived along Jalan Song Ban Kheng, the man suddenly grabbed and kissed her hand before pulling her body towards him.
He then proceeded to grope her breast, ACP Nik Ros Azhan said, adding that the woman warned that she would drive them to the police station.
"When he repeated the assault again, the victim threatened to drive them to the police station. He stopped," ACP Nik Ros Azhan said.
Along the way, the 29-year-old man who was seated at the back passenger seat vomited. At which point, the 23-year-old turned aggressive and tried to pull the woman to hug and outrage her.
"Suddenly, the younger suspect turned aggressive and started hugging the victim.
"She then immediately pulled up to the side of Jalan Bukit Minyak and asked the public to help," ACP Nik Ros Azhan was quoted as saying.
Members of the public then got hold of the two and thrashed them
Both the suspects suffered injuries to the face due to the beating and were brought to Bukit Mertajam hospital for treatment after a police MPV unit arrived at the scene.
"The two men have been remanded for further investigation and are being probed under Section 354 of the Penal Code for outraging modesty," the ACP added.
