PKR Rubbishes Claims That 2 Alleged Malaysian Mossad Agents Are Linked With The Party
A Malaysian couple is among 11 locals allegedly recruited by Mossad for the abduction of a Palestinian man in Kuala Lumpur last month. Following their arrest, photos of the couple promoting the PKR banner prior to GE14 have gone viral.

Today, 19 October, PKR denied claims that two alleged Malaysian Mossad agents are members or have any affiliation with the party.
They are among a group of 11 locals who were allegedly recruited by the Israeli intelligence agency to abduct a Palestinian in Kuala Lumpur.
According to PKR information chief Fahmi Fadzil, the Malaysian couple — whom he identified by their names — were neither PKR members nor did they have any affiliation with the party.
"PKR congratulates and thanks the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) for their swift action in arresting the suspects and freeing the Palestinian who was kidnapped on the orders of Mossad," Fahmi said in a statement through his Facebook page. He added that those found guilty must be brought to justice.
The couple, along with nine others, were arrested and charged at a Magistrate's Court on 14 October, according to Bukit Aman
Following news of the incident, four-year-old photos of the couple promoting PKR banners and flags prior to the 14th General Election (GE14) were widely circulated, alleging that they are linked with PKR.
Addressing the photos, Fahmi asserted that this has nothing to do with the party at all.
"Regarding photos of the individuals holding PKR flags or photos of Facebook accounts showing PKR's logo around 2018, these were their actions and choices and have no connection whatsoever with PKR."

The group had planned to abduct two Palestinian high-value targets. However, one of the victims escaped and lodged a police report, leading the police to bust the operation and rescue the other victim.
