Here's The 10-Point Agreement PH Presented To BN That PN Has To Counter

After publicly stating that the coalition has decided to not back any other coalition to form a government and will remain in opposition yesterday, 22 November, Barisan Nasional (BN) was decreed by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong today, 23 November, to form a unity government.
However, while BN leaders were seen meeting Perikatan Nasional (PN) leaders at the St Regis Hotel in Kuala Lumpur this afternoon, it seems that the party has already formed a pact with Pakatan Harapan (PH).
According to New Straits Times, PH and BN may have come to an agreement to form a unity government, as instructed by the Agong.

A 10-point agreement proposed by PH to BN was sighted by New Straits Times, and among the points included:
- The parliament will not dissolve before it completes its five-year term.
- All measures to ensure policies, programmes, and government direction will uphold the provisions of the constitution on matters relating to the position of Islam, Bumiputeras, and the Malay rulers.
- The prime minister will be a member of parliament from PH and the deputy prime minister will be from BN.
- The Perak and Pahang state governments will be helmed by a BN leader.
- The distribution of cabinet posts among the partners will be based on their percentage in Dewan Rakyat.
- The appointment of any BN MPs to the Cabinet must be approved by its supreme council first.
- The appointment of Dewan Negara members, main posts in government-linked companies, and other government posts must first be notified and discussed between the PM and DPM.
- All senior cabinet posts - Finance, Home, Rural and Regional Development, Education, and Defence - will be decided on by the PM and the DPM, and the distribution will be equitable and commensurating their capabilities and expertise.
- The government composition will include representatives from each party with senior positions given once talks are concluded.

However, tensions are running high within the coalition itself, as several BN members are claiming that Zahid had gone against the collective decision of the BN Supreme Council to stay out of the fight, and did not communicate BN's resolution correctly to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
Meanwhile, according to Malaysiakini, during the BN-PN meeting at St Regis Hotel today, BN had explained to PN the offer they have received from PH, and wants a counter-offer in writing for them to evaluate by tonight.
