A couple of days ago, Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah shared a short clip of herself singing a few lines from Tan Sri P. Ramlee's Tanya Sama Pokok

In the clip posted on Azizah Iskandar's Twitter account, Raja Permaisuri Agong is seen sitting beside a 23-year-old woman with Down syndrome, Syafirah Hanum Chik.

Azizah Iskandar recited the lines for Syafirah after learning it was her favourite song while visiting her Taman Sri Keramat home on Friday, 16 August.

Raja Permaisuri Agong was accompanied by Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, who joined together to sing

The woman's mother Salmah Ali said that she was stunned when Tunku Azizah started singing the song before asking Sultan Abdullah to join in.

"The royal couple smiled when Syafirah Hanum reacted to the song. I felt honoured.

"Sultan Abdullah and Tunku Azizah repeatedly told me to be extra patient in taking care of such a special child," the 59-year-old was quoted saying by Bernama.

The Raja Permaisuri Agong also promised to gift Syafirah Hanum with colouring books after being informed that she likes to colour

In the caption of her tweet posted along with the video, Raja Permaisuri Agong wrote, "Today I am entertaining a special child in Kg Sri Keramat, Maran. She likes the song 'Tanya sama pokok' and loves to paint."
