New Taman Tasik Titiwangsa Has Already Been Vandalised
The revamped park had only been open for five hours.

Taman Tasik Tititwangsa just reopened on Sunday, 15 December, after being closed for a year due to upgrading works
However, after reportedly being open for just five hours yesterday, the park was already vandalised by the public. In a Facebook post that has gone viral, trash was seen strewn all over the ground and words were scratched onto a new sign.
Noor Fazlina Rosley, who is the Project Implementation and Building Maintenance Department senior assistant director (architect) of Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), posted footage in a Facebook post, which has since been shared over 4,000 times.
According to her post, people were also spotted using bicycles rented from unlicensed bicycle operators and cycling on pedestrian pathways
Fazlina explained to SAYS that vandals can be held accountable with existing by-laws
"Any person who acts in contravention of any above shall be guilty of an offence under the Parks (Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur) By-Laws 2012 and Vandalism (Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur) By-Laws 1991, and shall be liable, on conviction, to a fine not exceeding RM2,000, or a term imprisonment not exceeding one year, or both such fine and imprisonment," she shared.
The park was closed in September last year for DBKL to carry out for renovation and upgrading works.
According to The Star, the park was complete with a maze garden, Banjaran canopy walkway, children's waterplay park, and two playgrounds.
