Pavithra Reveals Truth Behind Her Husband's Arrest In Latest YouTube Video

Popular YouTube personality S Pavithra has recently revealed the truth about the challenges she has been facing, especially in regard to her husband's recent arrest
On Thursday, 30 July, Pavithra uploaded a video titled, 'This is the reason behind (our) problems.'
Unlike her regular cooking videos, the five-minute clip features the 28-year-old sitting in front of the camera while she explains in detail about the obstacles she has been facing over the past several weeks.
She began by saying, "The reason I made this video is because I want to tell the truth behind the incident that happened the other day."
Pavithra continues to explain that her own family was the cause of her distress.
She said that they were the reason why her husband Sugu went to the hospital the other day with a sickle.
"My family became a problem because of money. They have never supported me for the entire duration of my marriage to Sugu which is seven years. They have never helped me or supported me," she says.
"Now that I have money and success, they suddenly showed up, started borrowing money, and caused several problems to arise within our family. That's why Sugu went to the hospital that day."
"Yes, it was Sugu's mistake that he drank alcohol on that day, but he is not a drunkard," she emphasises.
On Tuesday, 21 July, around 6pm, Pavithra's husband, M Sugu was found reportedly drunk and in possession of a 26" sickle at the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital's parking lot.
"News about us are not important national matters," the woman adds.
She notes that attention from the media has directly affected her family and their access to privacy.
"Since May, the media started to invade our family and we do not have time for our family. As you know, there is always news about us."
Pavithra then says that the media publishes fake news about her marriage in regard to the domestic abuse allegations against Sugu.
However, she does not elaborate further on the matter and moves on to say, "Since the media started coming into the lives of my family members, we have not had enough time to cook and feed our children. Free time became so scarce."
In regard to the couple's YouTube videos that were previously deleted, Pavithra says that she and her husband removed all their content out of frustration.
She promises that the old videos will be re-uploaded on their channel soon.
"We understand that these problems happened because of money. That is why my husband and I were frustrated and deleted our old videos. However, we hope that the situation will get better and the videos will be re-uploaded soon," she says.
Besides that, Pavithra also stresses that the channel belongs to both her and her husband.
As a rebuttal against netizens speculation about how Pavithra manages the YouTube channel alone, she says, "Without Sugu, I could not have made the videos myself."
"As you know, Sugu is the one who records the videos for me. My husband is the one who prepares all the ingredients, takes care of the children, and Sugu has always supported me. If Sugu was not around, I could not have made all these videos on YouTube."
Pavithra then ends the video by thanking her subscribers for supporting them through their ups and downs
"I hope that my family's situation will get better and no one will ever separate us. Our family consists of Sugu, myself, and our two children," she says.
"We hope to always be together and strive to be even better than before."
