The annual event, in which participants board a subway car in January while not wearing any pants while behaving as though they do not know each other, has since spread around the world, with enthusiasts in around 60 cities and 29 countries across the globe.

"It's Meant To Be A Positive Thing To Make People Laugh And Smile"
The celebration is focused solely on bringing a little humor to peoples' day. "It's meant to be a positive thing to make people laugh and smile," said Improv Everywhere founder Charlie Todd in an interview with USA Today.
