Yesterday, 22 February, cartoonist and prominent activist Fahmi Reza announced on his Facebook page that he has officially launched his crowdfunding campaign

The items include a 15-piece 'Penghasut' sticker pack, three 'Sekolah Penghasut' exercise books, a 'Penghasut' metal pin, and a special edition 'Penghasut' t-shirt.

The campaign, named 'Penghasut Solidarity Defense Fund', is now live on Australian-based crowdfunding site Pozible.

On the campaign page, Fahmi stated that all proceeds will go to a dedicated bank account to cover his court expenses and fines, and that his financial records will be made public

"Should I be acquitted on both charges (cases in Ipoh and Kuala Lumpur), remaining funds will be used to support other persons charged under the same law for political satire or dissent," he added.

Fahmi also announced that he accepts pre-order and online bank transfer for supporters who do not own a Paypal account

According to Fahmi, supporters can also fill up a Google form to indicate the items they want to purchase after transferring money into his bank account.

Apart from the four items in the 'Kita Semua Penghasut' combo, Fahmi is also offering a few other things

Fahmi has designed five 'Penghasut' phone wallpapers, which can be purchased by pledging RM1 to the campaign

He also included two other packages, 'Super Penghasut' and 'Penghasut Master' in order to spread and distribute stickers for free. Both packages come with the 'Kita Semua Penghasut' combo.

The RM500 'Super Penghasut' package will help distribute 500 stickers for free, while the RM1000 'Penghasut Master' package helps distribute 1000 stickers.

Since its launch at 8pm yesterday, the campaign has collected over RM20,000 from 200 supporters

Many pledgers also left comments on the website, encouraging Fahmi to "keep on fighting" and supporting his "good work".
