Najib Wants Obama's Bulletproof Limo Because It's More Comfy Than His Proton

Image via Aizuddin Saad/NSTPrime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak was at the Wild Digital Conference at the Le Meridian Kuala Lumpur yesterday morning when he spoke about his experiences of taking a drive with Obama in his personal limousine, popularly known as 'The Beast'.
"It's more comfortable than my Proton, and it feels safe because it is bulletproof," Najib said.
"Probably you can move the Seventh Fleet (in reference to the US Navy) with 'The Beast'," he was quoted as saying by Malaysiakini.
"A very lovely car. I wish I had one," he added.
The premier had a once in a lifetime opportunity to ride in Obama's special car in April 2014 during the American premier's first visit to Malaysia
The car travels with Obama during most of his official visits and has been brought down twice to Malaysia.
Najib added later that it was during that ride in Kuala Lumpur (in April 2014) that he and the Obama made plans for a golfing trip in Hawaii.
“That's when we decided we should meet up in Hawaii for a round of golf, in 'The Beast',” he said.

What's so special about 'The Beast'?
Specially built for Obama, the General Motors vehicle boasts its own oxygen supply in case of a chemical attack, is puncture resistant with run-flat tires reinforced with Kevlar.
There are even two pints of blood matching the President's type on board in case an emergency transfusion needs to be carried out at the roadside.
All of the windows are completely sealed and unable to roll down, except for the driver's side to allow him to pay tolls, and are able to withstand armor-piercing bullets and explosions.
Concealed within the bodywork is a full range of firefighting equipment, shotguns, night vision goggles and even tear gas launchers to help the vehicle get out of trouble.
With all those awesome features, it's no wonder why Najib would want a car like 'The Beast' for himself!
