The driver of a Mercedes-Benz crashed into a Burger King outlet at Kota Damansara on 20 August
The 60-year-old suspect was reportedly driving under the influence of alcohol
According to police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zani Che Din, "the suspect showed a positive reading of excessive alcohol level, higher than the legal consumption limit," reported New Straits Times.
The police chief said that the car skidded and ran over a pedestrian and two motorcycles parked nearby
The 72-year-old pedestrian received injuries to his head and legs.
“The crash also damaged the wall, tables, and chairs outside the premises,” Mohd Zani said, as reported by New Straits Times.
Netizens have responded to the accident saying that at least it is not a Myvi driver this time
