MBSB Bank Closes Kenanga International Branch After Employee Tests Positive For COVID-19

The non-customer-facing employee is now being treated.

MBSB Bank Berhad has announced that one of their employees at the Kenanga International branch on Jalan Sultan Ismail tested positive for COVID-19

According to a statement released by the bank today on 12 October, the non-client-facing employee contracted the virus from a family member.

The employee is now undergoing treatment

The bank added that it will begin contact tracing to reduce the spread of the virus in accordance to Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines.

"All MBSB Bank employees from Kenanga International have been asked to revert to working from home."

The bank also stated that two branches in Klang Valley will be temporarily closed

The Kenanga International branch will be temporarily closed for sanitisation on 12 October and will resume operation tomorrow, 13 October.

The Klang branch is closed on 12 October as it is located in a red zone under the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO).
