Man Seen Kicking, Slapping & Shoving His 5-Year-Old Stepson As Mum Tries To Save Her Son
The man told the police that he hit the child because he lied that he had assaulted him.

A disturbing video, which is almost three minutes in length, shows a man physically abusing his five-year-old stepson as the child cries
The video, which appears to have been shot without the knowledge of the 30-year-old man, has been circulating on instant messaging apps and social media platforms since Friday, 11 March.
It begins with the man seen restraining the child's hands while shouting a phrase in Tamil.
He then lands a tight slap on the child's face.
The impact of the slap throws the child to the ground and he lets out a scream in pain.
The man then lands another slap when a woman, believed to be the mother of the child, attempts to rush in to help the child but the man pushes her away and continues to hit the child.
The video shows the woman pleading with the man to stop hitting the child.
At one point in the video, the woman is able to rush in again and snatch the boy away from the man. She is seen running out of the frame while carrying the boy as the man follows her.
For the next minute or so in the video, the woman can be heard shouting and trying to reason with the man as the child is heard crying
However, from the sounds of thudding, it appears, the man continues to hit him.
There are loud noises in between the thuds and pleas for the man to stop. But he refuses to listen.
Towards the end of the video, when they reappear in the frame, the man is seen shoving both the woman and the child against the wall and they fall on the sofa. He then starts kicking and punching them both.
The woman, whom the sobbing child has been clutching with his arms, screams at the man in panic.
The two-minute and 50-second video ends as the man continues scolding them.
The man has since been arrested after the 25-year-old mother lodged a police report against him. The couple has been married for a month.
According to Shah Alam deputy police chief Supt Ramsay Embol, the couple stays in Seri Muda.
The man, who works as a lorry driver, was detained early Saturday morning at 12.30am, 12 March, after he surrendered himself at the Crime Investigation Department, reported New Straits Times.
"The police report was made by the mother before the video was circulated. There were no visible injuries on both the boy and mother. However, the boy has been referred to the hospital for treatment," he said.
Ramsay added that the suspect was remanded for three days and the case is being investigated under Section 31(1) of the Child Act 2001. If found guilty, he can be fined RM20,000 or jailed for ten years or both.
Meanwhile, the 30-year-old man told the police that the reason he hit the child was because he had lied that he was beaten by the stepfather
"Our probe so far found that the incident happened as the boy had claimed that the suspect had hit him. However, the suspect denied doing so. It angered the suspect and he slapped the boy," Ramsay said.
