Malaysians Shocked To Find Facebook Group With 12,000 Members Sharing Photos Of Children
Social media influencer Mekyun revealed that her secondary school photos were also shared in the group.
Malaysians were shocked to discover a Facebook group with 12,000 members sharing photos of children and teenagers, allegedly without their consent
Singer-songwriter Caprice, whose real name is Ariz Ramli, made the revelation after a netizen reached out to him for help in bringing attention to the group so it could be taken down.
According to the videos Caprice shared, the Facebook group is called 'Group Budak2 Sekolah Rendah'. The group is 'public', meaning its content can be viewed and shared by non-members on the platform, suggesting that even more people may have seen the posts.
Photos of students wearing primary and secondary school pinafores, baju kurung, sports attire, and even casual clothes were circulated, with one post receiving over 120 likes and 40 comments.
Most of the comments shown in the videos are inappropriate, featuring lewd discussions about the students by adult men, including senior citizens
"This made [me] climax multiple times," read a comment, while a caption with several photos of a 12-year-old in casual clothes read, "Raise [her] first until she's ripe, then you can eat [her]."
One status post even asked group members to share their experience "playing" with minors. The post attracted 50 comments.

After Caprice's videos went viral, social media influencer and actress Mekyun also spoke out against the group, revealing that her old secondary school photos had been shared there as well
In a video, Mekyun, whose real name is Wee Yun Nee, said she felt "extremely angry and disgusted".
"I am shocked and speechless because the group shares photos of children, including my photos when I was still in school.
"The comments on those photos are disgusting," said the 28-year-old content creator, showing some of the lewd remarks written by the group's members.

Mekyun said the group members' activity is a crime that needs to be investigated and put a stop to.
"This is not about me, but the children who don't even know their photos are being 'traded' in the filthy group. Who will protect the children if not us?" she said, urging the police and the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) to take action.
Below is Mekyun's response video to the issue:
At the time of writing, the Facebook group is believed to have been removed from the platform
Caprice shared a screenshot of a post from the group, which read, "The group has been exposed by Caprice. It's finished."
In response, the singer urged the group's admins to surrender themselves to the police, warning that if they did not, he would reveal the faces of the group members, including theirs.
