Malaysia Records New High With 1,240 Cases As Nilai Also Goes Into CMCO
Sabah alone recorded 927 cases today.

Malaysia recorded 1,240 new COVID-19 cases and seven deaths today, 26 October
This is the highest number of COVID-19 daily cases Malaysia has ever seen, with the last highest being 1,228 cases on 24 October.
In the daily COVID-19 press conference, Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah announced 1,238 were local transmissions while two were imported.
This brings the cumulative total of infections to 27,805 and active infections to 9,744.
The Ministry of Health (MOH) also recorded 691 recoveries.
The majority of new cases were recorded in Sabah
The North Borneo state recorded a total of 927 new cases today.
The Klang Valley recorded 194 cases. Of which, 177 were detected in Selangor.
Meanwhile, the National Security Council (MKN) has announced that Nilai in Negeri Sembilan will be placed under Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) for two weeks
Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the restriction will be in place from 28 October to 10 November following the rise of cases in the area.
It will be enforced in Putra Point Nilai at Jalan BBN 1/7B, Jalan BBN 1/7F, and Jalan BBN 1/2E.
