The Education Ministry (MOE) has granted 71 schools in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor permission to conduct online learning (PdPR) from 26 to 28 May, in conjunction with the 46th ASEAN Summit

According to the MOE, the move is to avoid disruption to school sessions due to road closures and increased security measures in areas surrounding the summit.

"This is to ensure that the learning process of students at the involved schools is not affected," the ministry said in a statement on 17 May. Parents and guardians are advised to check their school’s official communication channels for further details.
